Now who says tow truck drivers are pathological liars?

You certainly didn’t get that from me.

As a matter of fact  let me tell you a story relating to pathological service received by

a towing service the other day. This is exactly what I mean when I say pathological protein –

“over the top motivated & energized service”.

After hitting a bear on my motorcycle my service experience started when I called this towing service.

They answered the phone quickly – they were super polite (even though I was losing my mind),

they determined my location and dispatched a truck immediately.

Within 30 minutes the truck arrived and the driver

was thoughtful and considerate using blankets to protect my bike from further damage

while loading onto the flatbed.

The driver asked us for our safety to go ahead and sit in the truck.

After he loaded the motorcycle he came back to the cab of the truck and offered us

each a bottle of water. He could tell we were still visibly upset from the accident.

He calmed us with his demeanour and proceeded to assure us that all would be ok.

He kept the conversation going so we could take our mind off of what just happened.

He dropped us off at our house assured us the bike would be fine in

his possession and off he went. His service didn’t stop there.

After unloading the bike and getting it inside their garage he took of photo and sent it to me

saying “your baby is safe and tucked in”. That was very thoughtful of him cause we take pride

in our motorcycle and was concerned that it would be mishandled.

It was an incredible pathological service experience and one that I always like to share.

So who ever said tow truck drivers are pathological liars? That is certainly not our experience.

 …

I was reading a Facebook service post the other day about

giving great service and had a few thoughts.

We talk about being pathological in our approach and to

giving some of the best service possible.

I have met many companies that exude this on a daily basis.

They seem to have this “pathological” drive to ensure

that they deliver an extreme experience to the end user.

This is what all companies need to do when moving

forward and to grow their business.

Nice to see it’s being practiced by many.

 …

Wow –

Can you say Trump is pathological in his approach

to getting elected. This guy is a machine.

He approached this with everything he had.

He was able to read where the country was

and talk with them at that level.

He never gave up, right to the last day giving

6 different speeches in 6 different locations.

No that’s pathological.…

Now this guy is completely pathological in his approach to this.

He ended up talking a 25 year old off of quitting the training program

he applied for.

Be OBSESSED or Be AVERAGE.

Giving incredible service is bordering on Pathological.

I understand most might not agree with the term Pathological being

used like this but – who cares.

Giving Pathological Service is what we all should strive for.

Most companies strive for meeting the customers needs but I

think go above and beyond is what Pathological really means.

Let’s rise up and serve others and be pathologically service oriented.…

Do you know someone who has OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?

I think we all have a bit of OCD in us.

Most of us can keep it in check but some of us have a more

difficult time with it.

My friend who is an awesome carpet cleaner (a little shout out for him)

tells me he runs across many weird situations when he gets to customers homes.

Some of which involve very OCD people. He has a customer

that calls him once a month to clean his carpets. This guy is OCD.

Once a month? really? This customer also has plastic draped

over most of his home furnishings and he is always wearing

those thin rubber gloves that the Dr’s wear.

OCD is no joke. It is a mental disorder that can cripple people.

Working with OCD people can be challenging and most

won’t change their ways . . but they can if they work at it

and get professional help.

There is also others whom wash their hands obsessively.

Hey Everyone,

I have talked in here about being “pathological” in your approach to serving others

and putting your best foot forward when doing so. I hope it becomes a passion

for you as the rewards are great. The feeling you get when you go above and beyond

in helping-serving others, whether it’s a volunteer position or helping in the community

or being paid to serve.

My pathological notion is about giving incredibly crazy unwavering full on service to others.

Always going above and beyond is what it’s all about in anything you do but especially

when working with others.

Hats off to anyone who pursues the pathological approach when serving others.

Pathological Thieves . .

Say it ain’t so.

It’s a mental disease that takes over the individuals normal behaviours.

It’s compulsive, disastrous and pathological.…

There’s also more informal types of definitions of “pathological” you could use.

Perhaps the Pathological Gambler.

This is the guy or gal who is completely obsessed with any form of gambling.

Slots, tables, lottery, betting you name it they are pathologically addicted or compulsively addicted.

The ruin their entire life and the lives of close family members as they watch them destroy their lives

because of the uncontrollable addiction or compulsion to pathologically gamble away everything and beyond.
